Youth Community Service Project
Providing young people with opportunities to lead youth, outreach projects in local schools and communities.
At Treasure Our Youth we believe the “seeds” we plant today will help change our community for tomorrow.
Through our Youth Community Service (YCS) Project, youths will learn that even at a young age they can give back. We teach them about community needs and how they can make a difference, guiding them toward becoming community leaders and inspiring lifelong volunteerism. YCS maintains and operates three various community projects all aimed at meeting the needs of the less fortunate in their communities. New projects will be added as our organization continues to grow and change to meet the diverse needs of the people we serve.
We offer our YCS every spring and summer with a selection of topics that each focus on a different community need.
1. Serving the Environment- Budding nature enthusiasts learn about the specific environmental challenges the community faces.
-Neighborhood Clean-Ups / Restoration
2. Serving the People- Young advocates learn how to meet the needs of people experiencing health issues.
-Annual Community Health Fair
-Saturday Teen Outreach Program (STOP)
